Mountains and lakes




Mount Cook in the distance over lake Pukaki, and Lake tekapo at sunrise.

I've been waiting to put up another post until I can say... our skies here are as blue as yours are there! I've been waiting for ages to say it, but it's true, honest...

I can even see a snowy Ben Lomond out of the window against the blue sky, but it's the one near Glasgow rather than in NZ. Not quite so exotic really.

But you'll be pleased to hear that it's about +1 degree here, and will probably starting pouring with rain and blowing a gale soon. So you're better off where you are.
